Dom Preston
Hi, I’m Dom I have 30 years experience in the corporate world training and mentoring people of all ages. I’ve now made the move to become a driving instructor where my skills can be fully utilised preparing drivers for the VORT test.
I’m patient, calm and encouraging. I teach people to become safe responsible and confident drivers in a relaxed atmosphere. All students will be treated with respect in a safe and nurturing environment. I cater for all ages and levels of experience and will provide consistent feedback and support to help guide through the process.
I have chosen a 2024 Toyota Corolla Cross as the dedicated training vehicle for all lessons, as I believe it’s the ideal car for learning. With excellent visibility, smooth handling, and the latest safety features, it provides learners with a comfortable and secure environment to build their driving skills and confidence.
For added peace of mind, the car is fitted with both inward and outward-facing dash cameras that continuously record with audio. This ensures complete safety, accountability, and transparency for every lesson, giving both learners and parents extra reassurance throughout the driving journey.
As a local Unley & Metro driving instructor, Dom Preston brings valuable personal knowledge of the area’s roads and traffic conditions. His experience with the local streets means learners get practical guidance that’s relevant to where they’ll actually be driving.
